Miniature American Shepherd Club of Victoria
The Miniature American Shepherd Club of Victoria strives to promote, uplift and represent the Miniature American Shepherd breed in Victoria. Our focus is on highlighting their unique traits and characteristics, sharing information about breed history and educating owners and the public on this wonderful breed. Our goal is to foster a sense of sportsmanship and collaboration among our members, holding events such as social training days and Dogs Victoria sanctioned competitions in conformation, herding, obedience, rally, agility, tracking and more. Recognising the breed’s early stages in Australia, we aim to share comprehensive information on Miniature American Shepherds, including on breed history, health, breeding, training, conformation, competition and more.

Our Mission
The Miniature American Shepherd Club of Victoria is dedicated to preserving the integrity and versatility of the Miniature American Shepherd through responsible breeding practices and educated ownership. Our mission is to promote the breed’s intelligence, agility, and loyal temperament, ensuring that these exceptional dogs thrive in a range of activities while maintaining their unique characteristics. We hope the club will give owners, breeders and breed enthusiasts a place to work together to better the breed and enjoy these wonderful dogs. Our club is centered around three key focus areas

Our goal is to host activities and events to foster a sense of sportsmanship and collaboration among our members. We encourage participation in a variety of events that highlight the strengths of Miniature American Shepherds, including in conformation and dog sports. The Miniature American Shepherd Club of Victoria aims to hold events such as social training days and Dogs Victoria sanctioned competitions in conformation, herding, obedience, rally, agility, tracking and more.

We take pride in acknowledging the achievements of our members and their dogs. As we grow we aim to offer awards for versatility and recognise those showcasing the outstanding capabilities of Miniature American Shepherds in areas like confirmation and dog sports. The Club also aims to recognise those going above and beyond to build community and support other members and exhibitors.

MASCV aims to provide valuable education, resources and support to Miniature American Shepherd enthusiasts, both owners and breeders alike. This will include breed history, health, breeding, training, conformation, competition and more. There will be information on the importance of ethical breeding and how to find a responsible breeder for owners hoping to bring a Miniature American Shepherd into their home. Our commitment also extends to providing opportunities for the public to learn more about this wonderful breed.
